DOGLIANI

Dogliani DOCG is made entirely from the indigenous Dolcetto grape. The production zone for this wine was historically divided into two: Dolcetto di Dogliani and Dolcetto delle Langhe Monregalesi, but in 2011 the two zones were unified and awarded DOCG status. In the tradition of the Langhe’s other important wines, the name was changed from that of the grape, to that of the municipality, in this case Dogliani, where the denomination’s finest cru or quality vineyards are located.
